it been a while since i updated my blog

Ya it been a 2-3 week

and in these weeks, there is been quite a bit happening around the world


As all of us should know,there been some big natural disasters happened in the world, around asia. in may 3, cyclone nargis sweeping the costal area of myanmer, and there been a lot of people dead, lot more missing and thousands lost their home due to the cyclone

As everyone in the world just read the news and helps is going to that way, there come a bigger natural disaster, the szehuan 7.8 earthquake. Man the quake was much devastating than the cyclone one. Power, house went down into crumbles. the chance of survival is just dman small. some of the town have 3/4 of the people dead. Some worse, children below the age of 4 dead. Some of the school there are cemetery fo the children there. If there is a ghost movies which want to find venue, no need to think so much, welcome to szehuan, where the homes are gone and the spirit loitter around.

Just imagine, if the house there are like Singapore HDB style, u will be seeing bigger than life dominio falling on to each other. if the americans see it, they confirm say "TIMBER!" if it was singaporean looking at this, comfirm not shouting "help, HELP", more probably is shouting vuglaries, more hokkiens, more sentence with cry father cry mother, (KAO PEH KAO BU), if u understand, good, if don't, 80% chance that u are not singaporean.

Despite the help are coming to these area of needs, two different countries have two approach to the international help. Myanmner choose not to have any international help to save the people affected by the cyclone. For how long? 2 weeks. 2 WEEK LEH! how many hours? 2x7x24.... 300+ hours before any proper help arrival to myanmer.by that time, going to die people dead, missing people comfirm drown, sick people spread disease, hunger one starve to death.

The reason behind? " i don't want any foreign intervantion to other people, to prevent the spread of foreign idea into own local people." Come on la, u want to prevent also hard la. Myanmar, look at ur army, CANNOT MAKE IT, the doctor, CANNOT MAKE IT, confirm u need the ang mo to help u one. it either u prevent the spread of ang mo idea or 2 millions of ur people die? i know u people like to fuck a lot and give lot of babies, but also need 9 month ma. See la, u don't want any help, u will not get any, and u know what, all go to szehuan. It is called "recycling help"

And u know which country gan chong? NOt ASEAN, but Britian. haha. BRITIAN! asean not gan chong, ang mo gan chong. the stupid brown ( not the singapore MR Brown) prime minister gan chong, try to find ways to help them, but they don't listen. Come on la, Prime minister of Britian, u better take care of ur popularity first, cause i confirm 70% of singaporean still thought tony blair was still the prime minister of britain while 30% of them thought there is no prime minister with some still thinking that margent thacher is the prime minister

k. now u want to get help? too late, most of them are dead. i think u , myanmer get some help from the casket companies to bury ur dead people first, before u all get the orgy started.

The worst part this week is that i watch RAMBO 4. THIS IS THE MOST GORE MOVIE I HAVE EVEN SEE AND IT IS HORRIBLE. it is advicable not to be watched by missionaries or those going. as it will make u think twice before going there. Everyone is killed by one person. John rambo. it is really a movie that make sytelvastone his retirement fund. ( his name is still too long for me. but better than arnold one)

one thing that i find funny is during the rescus work in China. The whoel nation mourn for 3 mintues in remembrance of those who dead in the earthquake. The funny thing is that the rescus worker also mourn. Come on la, u better move instead of mourning! u can save someone while other mourning for the dead. if u also mourn, u are mourning for the one that could be rescue by u! idiot!

Another thing funny is how the news reporters report the miracle survivors news. they report the news as if there is "how long can u survive before u kena saved" competition. this is how they report

"After the golden rescueing time for 72 hours had past, there is possiblititly of saving survivors is lower and lower after each day, but everyday, there been a couple of miracle survivors that survive after 160 hours." then they give example, so i thought a couple mean 2, so i thought there will be 2 example, they give 6 instead. k. i can see that they failed their math. then this is how they report
"this old woman have survive for 160 hours, then another guy in other town survive after trapped for 168 hours, then this young lady survive after 172 hours in the debris and, then this 40 year old guy saved after trapped for 176 hours, and continue on with example till the 6th saved victis,

Isn't it a rescus mission? how come sound like competition? "HEY!, break my record of surviving after 200 hours in the debris! haha!" if any one in myamner survived after swept by the waves and return to the shore, that guy comfirm break the stupid chinese man record.

there is some much things to do in such a short time before i go in the army for 2year

But at least,i know some new friends like en tong and xue qi, from banquetand xie hei from the stewerding. working in banquet is not that stressful and boring after all

the trip from hong kong was fun. i really missed the food there, especially their breakfast,which is sooo good.i will upload the photo once i have the chance to.

During class gathering,everyone is talking about their future and somehow everyone seemto find what they want to do in life already. i'm not ready yet

it really frastrating not knowing what to do in the future. cause they will have a early start compare to me. and if i do the decision now, i afraid that i may regret my choice. sian!

my result is confirmed already. 3,38. which is quite disappointing for me as i was aiming for 3.5and above. seem that working too hard at banquet got backfired.shit....

now still working at banquet,but at times, i feel like quiting as the work there is getting less manageable. sian... feel like quiting there once i'm in army. enough is enough. but one thing i like about banquet is the different type of people i see there.( and the chef food).

Thinking about my future,i do hope i can in to an oversea university with 2 year advanced standing as it will really make me a happy man to go there to study. i will still work and study, but i will be doing more brain job than physical job there.( i hope)

For now, i stop here as i am in a lan shop gaming. update more as the time come.

Update what happen and so to happen

The past week is a very tiring week for me

Monday to thursday, wait from 7am to 11pm... it is very taxing for my body and at times, i really want to sit and rest. the best part, i only have 3-4 hours sleep as i read newspapers and surf the net for 1-2 hours before i sleep. my life is moving like a routine... everyday the same thing

The past tuesday was AXA meeting, wednesday,AIA western lunch, Thursday AIA chinese dinner and friday, Prudential dinner... how come all the insurance company all come at this timing? i just don't understand! and looking at these people, i cannot imagine how good are they at convining people to buy insurance from them. especially after looking at some of them who is just DAMN fat and greedy, i tell u one example

During the western lunch, there is only three course, appetiter, main course and the dessert. So i served the tables already, then, this two FAT guys was looking at me. u know how fat are they? they are so fat u can see the wobbling fat beside the chair they are sitting. They are so fat that i cannot see their eye and the nose, all hidden by the cheeks. They are so fat that i almost recognised them as the reincarnation of the pork my father was selling this morning.

As a waiter , i have addressed to their needs. so i went up and ask them what they want. They asked me whether can they have another appetitier. I ask the captain and he say go ahead. so i picked up the appetiters again, cusring and swearing at that two fat guys before i served the appetiters.

Now, the main course, i rushed to the kitchen, picked up the main course and served the tables as soon as possible. eACh tables are served with 5 fish and 5 chicken main course, so the guests will get it alternatively. basically, one will have fish and other will get chicken.

Just as i was going to the kitchen to pick up the desesrt setting, that two FAT guys ask me again, this time, the guy who have fish previously is asking for chicken and the guy who have chicken now want to have fish. i tell them in a kind way that each guest will have Either chicken OR fish. They replied " i thought each guest will have BOTH chicken AND fish" i was DAMN pissed off by the two fat guys. they pissed me off and the best part is that they are sitting in a VIP table! What manner is this?

AND the rEALLY best part is that they have no idea how to use the proper fork and knife. They only know that use the biggest knife and fork, u will not go wrong.

FUCK U!

if they keep doing that, u will be looking at me and i will ask u to read between the line while i showing three fingers the scout way. As VIP, please, do learn some table manner. THEY are a DIAGRACE to the AIA company and it is ridiculous that they do appear for the lunch. they are completely a slum, fat maggotS!

SERIOUSLY!,
they really have to buy some health insurance for themselves, just in case they sufferred from
-heart attack
-Angina
-high blood pressure
-high cholesterol level
-physical injury (just in case they roll down from stair)
-Brain damage (just in case they got stroke, due to fat clot up the vessels)
-liver failure ( eat too much)
-kidney failure (drink too much soft drink)
-choking (due to aggressive eating of meat)
-Deep vein thrombus (eat too much and rest too much on the plane)
-teeth extraction (just in case teeth broken after too much pressure on the teeth)
-osterporesis ( just in case the bones cannot support the weight)
-joint pain (the joint at the leg cannot rotate well)
-infertility ( please! that fat legs rubbing that small dick and ball, how to get sperm?)
-depression( cannot get laid at all, unless u find a fat one)
-for the weight balance ( it's good to buy one for it, just in case they think the needle went hay wried but the fact is that it is telling the truth)
-For emergancy need (if they stuck in toliet bowl and in between their door.)
-For the swimming pool they are going to swim in ( in case there is no water after they dived)

AND U KNOW WHAT IS THE BEST PART ABOUT BUYING INSURANCE?

THEY DON'T INSURE U IF U GOT THE ABOVE SYMPTOMS


So only thing i can tell them is GO AND DIE! AT least the amount of biomass that produced from them can let singapore to be oil independent for one day.

life after school...

i know this been a cenutary since i updated my blog.

People thought that i have died as the blog is not updated for a very very long time.

so i updated with all the things happen in a few sentence


NOt more working in mental hospital, now in banquet at swissotel
Good friend clitnon commissioned as officers and pass advanced drving test, whereby i still cursing and swearing at my basic dribing test
i went out with friends quite often, but not with benedict that often.

TOday i get my result transcript and i get a mixed feeling. It is a good thing that i managed to graduate (but com' on who don't?), but the resutl i has wasn't as good as the 4.0 GPA monster scorer. my result is less than 3.5, which is very very bad in my point of view cause i don't know whether i can get in the local university or not.

At least, other people have their CCA to boost about during interview or in the resume.

What i can say? i had been working in the banquet since the start of my poly life. should i rephrase my working experience?

instead of saying " i work as banquet waiter",to saying " i dedicated my time and effort in SIngapore hospitality industry after school time?"
From " i work my ass off", to " the experience i get in this industry is memoriable and unforgetable". Kena bullied by the indians captain there, say what " the tight co-operation and close kidship in between races can be observed, especially in this industry"?

The worst part is that if u write that in the application of course such as business or hospitality inducstry, at least the interview will understand. but to course like biotechnology? since when u need to serve fungi and bacteria in lab? even though i serve before mushroom and truffles in banquet before, but that is out of the topic.

AFter all, All people who have a thing dangling there must go for National service. so, as i has somehting dangling there, so i must go, but the most idiot thing is that i ahve to wati for the enlistment letter which that a long time to come.People say it will send to your house 2 month beofre enlistment. For now, i want to know when i going in, so i plan to go for a short full time job as the lab technican or for more holiday before NS

Before i conclude my post, i would want to promote one of the latest IT Gadget.
The latest Ipod Touch 32GB. it is the ipod touch with the biggest capacity and the ipod itself is so classy that it is one thing u must have beside the Iphone. it was a torture to see clinton to play the gadget in fornt of my face. As a mac fanatic, i was unable to resist the temptation and use his ipod touch for a few hours. WA,,, ipod touch is truely one things u will want for Christmas, hope by that time, it will be 64 gb or 128GB!... HAHAHAHA

this is the 3rd day of the lunar new year

i wishing all people reading this blog a hapy new year and wish all your wishes will come true in this new year, but firstly, all the poly students result excel!

this year is a boring new year for me. normally, family will ahve a big steamboat and everyone in the house will sit around the boat and eat the steamboat.

For me, it is just 3 guys in the house. my father, brother and me. u see me, i see you. each one have no plan or activites on that day. then, father say, i cook rices and meat. then both my brother and i replied " k loh"

Then food cooked, i do my project , brother watching his tv, father guessing the next 4d number... it just u do your own stuff, i do my own stuff.. no disturb.. the best plan, no one awake after 12.30am. normally, children will stay aup as long as possible to enlong the parent life... but it just seem that both me and my brother hope my parent have a short life.

then first day of new year, people go to relative home to visit and take ang bo... sit sit here, go go there.

Guess where i go?


AT home... play DOTA all day with computer...


HAHA then go to watch kungfu dunk wiht ben ( why not a girl? sian)...

That show not that bad, at least jay chou acting improve. but the story is DAMN lame la... time reverse... WAWAWAWAWA... but it is a good comedy. but the story SIAN.

The worst part, the seat we are seating is a couple seat, the handle inbetween is "removeable". i was like why the person i watch is not some girl or my dream. SIAN.

my life is just damn screwed up.

it have been a long time since i blog already. i know people are treating this blog like a dead blog. i know

but today... after FORGET to get for my basic theory driving test. i just realised my poly life is one of the most FUCK UP POLY LIFE EVER

if u are a poly student, there is some things u must get in this 3.5 year.
firstly, a result that can get u in any university, this one i am kind of fuck up as my result is not too good or too bad to go to NTU. i am only saying about NTU, not even NUS.

Secondly, a girlfriend. one of the main reason i go poly is to find a good girl and attached to her, u think i join this course for the promising future it can give? CRAP la. i join this course to find any a bity smarter girl, not like business schoool where are most of the girls are clubber or flirt or bitches. i did not realised the quality of the girl in my course is damn SHIT. SHIT. SO SHIT that i have to find my target in other courses such as food science. NA bei waste my time in this course. and the most part is the bloodly awkward relationship that i have in my previous that make me go to the other "pharmaceutical" track, u think i so interested in chemistry and other drug name? FUCK LA> my interest is only in bio, that all,

Thirdly, a driving licence. this is the one i am damn damn pissed off and fucked up. that the test 3 time fail, this time i cannot wake up for the test as my hp want to piss me off and AUTO SAVE SHUT OFF. FUck la, nabei ci bye, a phone cannot work as a phone, what did u call that type of phone? lan jiao phone.

All a long i want to get a motorbike, a phamton to be precise and ride around singapore, now, i only got bus 11 to travel me around singapore. i am a walking GPS without any vehicle to direct. waste of talent, waste or my life. so after this test, i am not going for the test before i go army. seriously, it just pissed me off. i rather any how ride on the road without a licence crush and die or caught by police car and go to jail then going to the driving centre, pay huge amount of money for failing me. Fuck la.

the other reason for get motorbike licence is that u get car licence u no car, u drive what? air? fuck la, u can be in singapore,, work ur ass off to pay the COE, ERP, ROAD TAX, CARPARK COUPON and the most expensive one, the car itself. AT least a bike is affordable. the most i work hard for 3 month, can already buy a decent bike.

the worse part is the other factors.firstly, family divorsing and father no money. y father no money? cause all the money spent other prosititue as he cannot fuck my mother. see? he learn a lesson, must find a wife who like to be fuck. that is the road to happy marriage. and no money, i cannot go to uni to study. FUCK LA

Secondly, my laptop. i jusit want to send my laptop for diagnosis. the motherboard spolit. They are asking me whether can i pay 1235 dollar for the spare part and 120 for the labour. WHAT THE HELL LA! that time my ipod screen crack, i ask them how much to repair, 160. na bei, i go ebay buy a screen and tool and wait for 1 week for it to arrive, guess how much? 50 including a new cover. ASking me to pay around 1500 for the reapir, i rather use the money and buy a new one.

just thinking about the above stuff just get me frustrated.

i just feel like pressing the restart buttom and my life start over again.


AS i am my friend chixiong house, i feel like jumping off his house at 14 storey and restart my life again.

What a twelve week attachment

As i am typing this post, it is the end of the twelve weeks attachment in sydney



While typing this post, i am feeling emotional

every word i type, i feel like crying

Cause today, i recall all the time i had in sydney in lab


Going out to places never seen before, i still remember the face all 5 of us had when we look at the opera house and the sydney harbour bridge, take lot of photo, the blue mountain and the animal in featherville to touch the kangaroo and koala bear.

Birthdays!, Grace and eleanor, catherine, my lab shane...All the fun time, sitting together, watching free entertainment.
(my eye is full of water now... no tear yet....)

Stay in the lab late to complete experiment, cycling to school, met nice people like adrain who let me his bike for 2 month, the most best part! HAPPY HOur in both the school uni bar and lab. Party such as end of school party, oktoberfest...

Going to places alone to beach, the weathers, the scenery, this is one thing that money REALLY cannot buy, the "small" one day adventerous, walking around sydney such as 7 bridge walk, walk from circular quey to chatwood, the cogee to bondi walk.





Got good things, of course got bad things...

like my family hurry me to send my I.C photo back to singapore,

Laptop down and no one can help me, even the lab most I.T skilled scientist cannot do much




This is one of the hardest post i am going to write, as i am holding my tears and typing it and to know my time here is really up, it really make me sad as i really enjoy my time here... Too bad i cannot go to the christmas party the lab is hosting next week.

Soon i will wake up in Singapore, having my $400 dollar pay for the next 3 year due to attachment and army.

I hope i don't wake up at all..I REALLY DON'T WANT TO WAKE UP YET!



But all dream cannot last forever... this is REALITY.

i was still thinking about the first week i came here


i was a greenhorn then...


Though a bowl of laska will be 4 dollar AUS.... thought that bus ride here is cheap, All the wishful thinking....


through the 11 week, i meet lot of different peoples, know some friends here...

in the lab, make some good discovery, know more to be independent, change in learning attitude... but i forget all my pharmaco knowledge...(SHIT!.. i still need it in mental hosptial ...F***)

At the end of the whole attachment, i think it will be good to write a report of the for them about my progress in this lab.


Today, the main supervisor was asking me why am i writing a report? Is it for school?

i was trying to say the report for he to see

He say;" just draw a table, i can understand"



i was dumbfolded cause i thought i need to write a report, but if like that, i just draw the table out in 10 minutes

he see it... and ask me" why are u letting me see the result?"

i say" i am leaving on dec 2"

He was saying" f***, you will not be able to get drunk on the lab christmas party on dec7, F***"



hearing that, it really make me feel harder to leave this lab i am in now. there are just many good people here. Although they look fierce, but they are good hearted. Man, i WILL miss the time here...


This three month had been a good memories for me.... (just a bit of trouble for the family, the army and small bicycle accident here, just a few cuts on the feet, hand, not on the face like the last time)


After typing, i am going to update my logbook which i need the sub supervisor to sign as the main supervisor went down to drink beer already... so... better update now. haha


P.S Tmr shopping spree.... nouget, pant, shirt... need to write a shopping list... WA... money leaving my pocket... heart ache, cause i am a cheapskate....

tuesday... shit, i miss both singapore and sydney

today is tuesday.... a.k.a the eve of the day where my computer spolit

just thinking that my computer is spolit for about a week pissed me off....

Now, i have to stay in lab late to type the report... very sad... very irritating


The past weekend went to the mountain that is blue, the blue mountain,... we took an tour call actiivty tour there and i will updated u more about the trip in my next post when i can get the usb cable to link this computer to the camera. i just cannot find that cable.

i also went to manly beach and the north sydney... it was a long trip and got sun brun by walking by the beach... that is crazy. I went to palm beach, it was the nice beach, i dare to say it is the east coast of sydney, not in term of the dirt the sea have, but the length. i need 1 hour -2 hours to walk one end to another... it was beautiful place to be.... i will also update it in the next post...


i have trouble typing the report that i need to "hand up" as it was an optional thingy, but i want to try to type a report of the finding that i had in the lab. u know typing a report is the boring thing u can do... so i go to youtube and i want to introduce 3 video for the people who looking in the post.

that is the fun part, but down in my heart. i am feeling like the title of the post.

i miss the food in singapore, but i start to miss the good time i had in sydney ( not some of the hip-up i had in singapore). i started feeling this cause today the lab meeting, they are discussing the decamber christmas party that i will not be in able to go, even though it is in DEC 7, whereby i will be goen by dec 2. After the meeting, i got a email from the my soon to be supervisor daniel from the NHG pharmary about the detail in the next attachment on dec 3.

Out of sudden, i was just thinking about the time here, it was good, sweet, visitng lot of places but not enough, regret on some days that i did not go out at all... F***, now i going back and start my day where my monthly pay to be 400 onward.... from attachment, to army for the next 2 years.... i do hope i can come back to study and work in australia to lead my cheapskate life here as what i did in the past 3 month.

The laptop is not going any better today.

the past 2 days i have been operating on my macbook pro and removing the memories of the computer out... yes, i found the screwdriver and i just SCREWED HIM up...

i was too foolish in my thinking, did not much research and acted recklessly. yesterday i operate, i then realized the hard disk used in the macbook pro is a SATA hard disk, the hard disk case i have is IDE one.

so i went online to find the cheapest 2.5 SATA casing, on ebay, 2.99 for the case and 10 dollar postage. i was complaining too expensive, so i try my luck in the neigbhourhood to see the computer store sell this type of casing or not.

They sell... but u guess the price

it was 27.50 for the cheapest i found

27.50 for a case? u daylight robbery or not?



then i realized they did not rob that much to the other 2 shop i ask later, 30 dollar and 39 dollar....


WA... TA MA DE... i can go online and buy 2 of these cases and cheaper then buying in sydney kingford... bloody hell...


i come here sell SATA case, enough to make me rich already... these blood sucker.


with such price, i was SERIOUSLY in doubt...


so the guy offer a 10 dollar screening of my hard disk, so he screened and tell em my hard disk is protected, need mac software to unlock


now using other people computer, typing my post...


Fuck la, now have to learn a new command call fsck in the reboot of the laptop

been busy with experiment , which only 30% of the time it work and the 70% was just a waste of time.

Apologise.... experiments, Experiment and blogger problem

it have been two week since i last blogged. i apologised as i finally understand what kelvin mean of " lazy". i am getting lazier everyday, even though i cycle to school now, i am still late for "work"

The blogger don't allow me to upload all the photo i have taken in the pass two week. Shit, Faeces, metabolic waste product. the weekends are getting boring as we went to most of the places in sydney except the blue mountain and huntervalley. i not going to city as it becoming like orchard road to us... everyday the same thing, same street performer, same joke, i getting tired of the same thing.

Now i finally can go out with other singaporean friends i met in sydney and going home with a mate everyday ( sorry, it is a guy and i am not GAY, i do hope i can walk back or cycle back home with a people of another gender)

and that brett give me 3 projects to do! how to cope? finally i completed one but there is no result and i going to ask him what to do about it. one is still on going and another cannot start cause cannot find the stocks(haha)

k. i will try to upload photo asap or else and i think it is time for me to email the lecturer how we are in sydney. i need to rush for the happy hour now at 5pm (3pm singapore... man i getting drunk damn early!)

3rd weekend, EAT!

Sunday, We went to the fish market to eat.

Meet in the city, chinatown at 10am. But there is a marathon in the city on that day. the bus service went topsy- tupvy, go up, down, left right in the rural area. make me late by reaching there at 10.30am

We walk for 15 minutes, and we reach the Fish market

At the fish market, there are LOT of Birds flying around, try to get the food from human. And they behave like thief, target on ladies and aunty. We took 20 minutes to look for sits and we enter the fish market.

We got so much food, i have to take away some food. We all go back, 9th month pregnant. i even order 18 oyster! but the oyster is cheap, one oyster only 1.30 dollar, not more than 2 sing dollar! It was seriously a delight to eat.

We also eat sashimi, 60 dollar worth, two pack of fish meat, got salmon, tuna... wa.... i eat until i want to use some to cook fish porridge.

After that, we went to the ciruclar quey to rock market. i will talk more or rock market in my next post.

After rock market, we went to starbuck to drink and the lady left to have a earlier rest. Wilson and i went to karaokwith his friens, a place call red box. 3 hours for 10 AUS dollar, not bad!, sang from 7pm to 10pm.

Tomorrow is mid autumn festival, so i hope everyone can eat mooncake and enjoy the moon tmr! i will take photo of the lab mooncake party. Hope to update this week soon

3rd weekend, SHOP

finally, weekend come again!

On the saturday, we went to birkenhead to shop cause there is where all the factory outlet are located. All the shops sell all their products at a much cheaper price. We need to go to the city before taking bus to the westside of sydney

The weather on that day was very windy. too windy and the temperature is less than 20 degree, cold. We try to brisk walk there cause the weather was too cold.

2nd weekend. Darling harbour

The past week, the whole of group of us went to the darling harbour to see the sydney aquarium.

The fee to the aquarium and to and fro transport cost about AUD$33. which is not bad cause, the cost of single trip is AUD$5.20 and the aquarium entrance free itself is about AUD$28.90, so we saved about AUD$6.00, but we reached we can walk there from the city to the sydney aquarium, but never mind, we got chance to sit on the ferry.

At the aquarium, i was amazed that size of the aquarium itself. it is huge!, they got three places whereby there is underwater tunnel like those in sentosa underworld. The aquarium have a group of animal together in the underwater tunnel, unlike singapore whereby they mixed everything up like rojah. If want to see shark, all the shark are there. Seriously, it was fasinating,

After walking around, we went to cross the bridge to the other side of the river, the much more active side of the river to shop for window (window shopping for short)

First days in School.

Day: 10 september
Venue: UNSW science block
Person to meet: Professor Staffun Kjellyberg
Time: 9am

All of us are outside the buliding at UNSW bioloigcal science block. initially wating for the professor to come, but we went up to find him instead. In the office, i saw a old guy with some white hair on his head, wear spectacle, skinny. i did n't know he was the professor. haha

So, the first day, we didn'r do much things, cause we haven't get the student card and haven't done the paper work.
So it end at 12 noon. so we went to the supermarket to buy some things. The girls bought lot and lot of chips and i bought a 2.25litre coke at a price of $1.10 AUs or 1.60 sing dollar, till today, i haven't drink finished the bottle.

From the supermarket, all of us pull 3 trolley from the supermarket to the girls lodging area, the parade lodge. The trip from supermarket to the lodge was an ADVENTURE. Got hill, slope, traffic. We went pass the hospital, the university, some shop house before reaching the lodge. the distance is about 2-3km. the trolly wasn't that easy to control, need to move the body in different way to control the trolley effectively. The worst part is the stare from the public. it was so embrassassing. People are looking at us, thinking, "what the hell are these 5 people doing?"

Then we went ot the city for a walk. lost in the city, found chinatown. Picture uploaded in the next post.

Today, we are assigned to different lab and i was the only guy (I ALSO the ONLY guy in the group going to UNSW) going alone. The lab i assigned to is Breff lab. i was brought by brandon to go into the lab. When i go in, i saw a guy who wear slipper in the lab, where all chemicals are around. i was like thinking, "what the hell was he?". then brandon say,"this guy is breff." i was like."HUH?". and Breff is the PhD holder, overlook the whole lab.

I was then under the supervisor for the day, Jasper, who show me DNA extraction, which i learn before but forget. HE did it once and when finished, it was about 3.45pm. They ask me to join them for soccer,so i went.

Imagine going to a big farm, playing soccer wiht PhDs, it is a new kind of experience. The best part, some of them was very muscular. VERY! like a bufflo. Strong, fast and swift in their movenment. i was amazed. tHe best part, even you are tired, no strength or "wasted", you hardly sweat, and the weather is so cold unlike singaproe where you will feel the sticky leg and armpit, you can continues playing for hours, non-stop. FUN! enjoyable.
